Tender description

Tower Hamlets Council is seeking to commission, on behalf of the CCG and council, a tier 3 weight management service that achieves optimum weight loss outcomes through face to face and digital interventions for our local population. The service will have a wide reach into the community, establish a user-friendly referral pathway and engage and motivate clients to ensure maximum retention rate. Clients will be offered 1 year multi-component weight management programme. Service primary outcomes will be providing a safe and effective weight loss with a focus on long term diet and exercise behavioral changes that achieves: — at least 60 % of starters complete 75 % of the programme at 3 months, — at least 3 % of initial weight being lost at 6 months, — at least 5 % of initial weight being lost at 12 months. Return of tenders/bids end date: 7.1.2019 Initial contract duration: 3 years Extensions: 2 years Estimated contract value (including extensions): indicative value: 1 040 000 GBP. The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) is seeking expressions of interest from interested organisations for the above services and/or goods.
