London Luton Airport is looking for bidders for: Provision of a standard 3 X-Ray machine for Outsize Baggage in line with the European ECAC and the Department for Transport (DfT) directives on Hold Baggage Screening technology The new standard 3 unit needs be compliant in terms of the DfT and European ECAC directives Contract is to commence upon successful award, complete standstill period, and signature of legal documents. Estimated timescale for this is May 2018 Bidders are to note that it will be a contractual obligation that Standard 3 EDS compliance is achieved by the September 2018 deadline stipulated by the DfT. All other details are within the tender documents.
