Tender description

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Children’s Managed Social Care Service. We require a managed service for any Childrens social care cases for set periods of up to 12 weeks (for the purposes of this paper this is referred to as a “round”), in order to alleviate some of the pressure in the social work teams. Each round may focus on a different aspect of children’s social care, dependant on where capacity is required, this includes fostering services, care leaver activity, statutory assessments, Children In Need, Child Protection and Children Looked After work. The ability to resource additional capacity is critical as the service is experiencing high levels of demand and our social workers have very high caseloads which is impacting work, our ability to recruit social workers and turnover of staff. Performance data and quality assurance work confirms increased demand across all social care teams. Full details relating to the Services are provided in the tender documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com Contract Period The contract will be initially for a period of 36 months commencing 1st March 2019 with no option to extend.
