Window Replacement Works

Tender description

The work comprises of the complete removal of existing windows and the replacement with new as per the attached specifications including all sundry items and scaffolding to occupied Herefordshire Housing and Leaseholder properties throughout Herefordshire. All works are to be undertaken in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, ACOP's, current best practice, statutory regulations and standards. (see attached specifications provided by manufacturers and detailed repairs schedule for more detail) Contractors must allow for cleaning of windows following installation, including use of any solvents etc. as required to remove all labels and residue. Any damaged glazing must be replaced, if fitted within, 10 days or at the earliest convenience of the resident if this isn't possible. A record of any snags or defects must be kept and reported on by the site manager.
