TP17 035 - Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Unit-Anniversary Year Evaluation

The Kent Downs AONB and the North Downs Way trail are celebrating 50th and 40th year anniversaries respectively. A large scale celebration project has been developed and is being funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The project will comprise over 50 events and activities across the Kent Downs and North Downs Way Trail between January and December 2018. A requirement of the HLF funding will be to monitor and evaluate the events in a meaningful way to indicate how people view the AONB landscape before and after the event and to determine how successful the celebration project has been. Evaluation and monitoring consultees will be a mixture of the general public who come to events, project partners and project leaders.
