TC503 - Provision of CCTV Camera Maintenance

Tender description

The Council currently operates some 223 Public Open Space CCTV Cameras and 17 Help Points throughout the City. Each device is connected to the Council's CCTV Control Room in the city centre using either a Wireless or Fibre transmission connection. The Council wishes to appoint a contractor to provide maintenance and support to ensure each CCTV Camera (including associated wiring and peripherals) and Help Point are operational for the maximum period and where faults occur are repaired as soon as possible. The contractor will not be responsible for connectivity or transmission hardware, with the exception of 3 cameras (listed in appendix 1) that are transmitted via a Council owned point to point radio network that will be maintained as part of this contract.
