Tender description

Iarnrod Eireannn (IE) has a requirement for vendors who can overhaul the following equipment: — Lot 1: Overhaul of GEC Type G781/DW M/A set: — — there is a total of 28no overhauls to be carried out over an 18 - 24 months period, these overhauls are to include new Gino resistors that will be provided by Iarnród Éireann. — — in addition to this, a further 9no M/A sets, already overhauled, are to have Gino resistors fitted over a two month period after the main overhauls. — — a requirement of a break/fix casualty repair to be in place until July 2021. — Lot 2: 201 Class locomotive AR8PHEH / Main Generator / CA6B Alternator. — — there is a requirement to have 12 (4 per annum) overhauls done on the main generators. — — a requirement of a break / fix casualty repair to be in place until July 2021. — Lot 1: Overhaul of GEC Type G781/DW M/A set: — — there is a total of 28no overhauls to be carried out over an 18 - 24 months period, these overhauls are to include new Gino resistors that will be provided by Iarnród Éireann. — in addition to this, a further 9no M/A sets, already overhauled, are to have Gino resistors fitted over a two month period after the main overhauls. — a requirement of a break/fix casualty repair to be in place until July 2021.
