Tender description

Warwickshire County Council is looking to put in place a multi-provider framework for the provision of In-Patient Detoxification Services. The aim of the service is to provide high quality, easily accessible, Inpatient Detoxification placements for individuals who have been assessed as needing this level of intervention as part of their recovery plan. In addition to meeting the substance misuse treatment needs the interventions should also contribute to a range of other domains including but not limited to improving health and wellbeing, enabling social reintegration, reducing substance-related offending, and reducing the negative impact on families. Access to the service will be for residents of Warwickshire or those individuals who are registered with a Warwickshire GP. Warwickshire County Council is looking to put in place a multi-provider framework for the provision of In-Patient Detoxification Services through an open tender process. The Inpatient Detoxification service forms an integral core component of the wider drug and alcohol service, offered as part of the adult treatment service. The new service model has been redesigned to take into account local priority needs, a clear focus on prevention and early intervention and sustained recovery, whilst maintaining the quality of provision, improving outcomes for service users and delivering value for money. The aim of the service is to provide high quality, easily accessible, Inpatient Detoxification placements for individuals who have been assessed as needing this level of intervention as part of their recovery plan. In addition to meeting the substance misuse treatment needs the interventions should also contribute to a range of other domains including but not limited to improving health and wellbeing, enabling social reintegration, reducing substance-related offending, and reducing the negative impact on families. This framework arrangement is not exclusive and Warwickshire County Council is not required to call off under it. Applicants should be aware that volumes may increase if additional funding becomes available or may decrease if funding reduces.
