Tender description

Dumfries and Galloway Council directly operates the (HWRCs) at Newton Stewart and Stranraer and the SZWP. The Council has a requirement for skip transport, waste treatment & disposal or recycling of the waste materials collected. The required work has been split into 4 lots. The range of services to be provided include: — Lot 1: Materials to be Collected and Treated (Stranraer and Newton Stewart), — Lot 2: Transport Only (Stranraer and Newton Stewart), — Lot 3: Internal Skip Movements (Stranraer Only), — Lot 4: Scrap Metal and Car Batteries (Stranraer and Newton Stewart). The contract value is GBP 260 000 over the possible 2 year contract period. Please note that this value is indicative and is not guaranteed due to tonnage fluctuations. Tenderers may submit bids for one, some or all lots.
