Tender description

Supply of Natural Gas, including daily and non-daily metered supplies, and supporting ancillary services to UK public sector organisations. Suppliers will be expected to provide a number of additional services including flexible billing services, administration, query management and transparent pricing for the customer. Suppliers will also be expected to support Crown Commercial Services trading functionality by providing access to trading services, advisors, bespoke reporting and price to market options. The existing Crown Commercial Service contract currently supplies natural gas to over 840 public sector organisation with a volume of approximately 15TWh. This is provided to over 16,500 sites with over 27,000 meter points. Please note these volumes may change in line with growth or attrition of the portfolio during the life of the agreement. Organisations volume is aggregated together for trading and organisations have the ability to select a locked or variable purchasing strategy. Supplier will be expected to provide services including: billing, admin activities, customer query management, transparent pricing, direct access to trading services, access to FSA regulated advisors and bespoke report generation. Suppliers will also be expected to provide a range of supporting ancillary services for organisations. The decision as to whether to split the agreement into lots is yet to be determined. Therefore, we will seek to conduct market engagement activities to explore options.
