Tender description

The Notice is issued to inform providers of the Contracting Authority’s intention to advertise an opportunity in the near future for an independent advice and support service for residents of Westminster. This is not a call for competition. This contract is for the provision of frontline advice services for residents of Westminster. The service will provide a human approach to navigating issues and services. The core aims of the service will be to: — Ensure residents are supported to resolve issues, — Build the capacity for residents to help themselves in the future, — Help vulnerable residents access the support and services they need, — Support the health and wellbeing or residents, — Provide digital access for those less able of capable. Detailed advice will cover a range of topics including but not limited to: welfare benefits, debt, employment ace, housing (where a client in unhappy with the statutory advice they have received, manager and borrowing money, information and advice on income maximisation, and specific advice for priority groups (families with children under 5, vulnerable adults and older people). The various components of the new contract may be recognised by way of creating multiple Contract Lots for specific areas.
