Harrogate Convention Centre is seeking a creative and innovative partner/s to provide a number of catering and bar services across the site. Catering provision is one of the top five determining factors for clients choosing a venue and so understanding and exceeding customer expectations is crucial. In return the successful partner/s can expect a high level of commitment and a potential share in future successes.The Convention Centre is owned by Harrogate Borough Council and offers Conference and Exhibition Services to a wide range of clients and customers. The Convention Centre is seeking submissions from companies to tender for the delivery of catering and bar services across the whole site including the Royal Hall. The contract/s will be a Concession Agreement/s for four lots. The contract start date will be 1.1.2019 for a 5 year term. A complete banqueting food service operation with waiting staff is required. There will be opportunities for the Contractor/s to independently sell the venue for dinners and banquets with the Convention Centre earning any related commission. The provision of tea and coffee services for conference breaks, conference lunches (both fully seated and buffets), packed lunches and receptions where the services are agreed and paid for by the organiser as part of the event planning process. The provision of pre ordered food, beverages and liquor to individual stand holders at exhibitions. This service is agreed and paid for by the organiser as part of the event planning process. Provision of food and beverages at fixed retail outlets within the Convention Centre. Provision of a bars service at both fixed and mobile sites within the Convention Centre and Royal Hall. Provision of an onsite coffee shop to host client meetings, internal meetings, staff and members of the public.
