Grounds maintenance services

Tender description

– Lot 1 - The provision of Grounds Maintenance at 56 sites at the time of the tender, – Lot 2 - Tree surveying services at 26 sites at the time of the tender. The type of sites includes Administration buildings, Community sites, Children’s and Adults day centers and Nursery services, Libraries, Idea Stores, Park Buildings (boundary area only) and depots. The services required for Lot 1 include but not limited to: 1) Grass cutting and maintenance; 2) Planting and maintenance of borders, beds, planters, pots, and boxes; 3) Maintenance of shrubs; 4) Maintenance of hedges; 5) Maintenance of hard surfaces. Lot 2 include: 1) Tree Surveying services; 2) Reporting on prescribed treatments over the life cycle of the contract. Each contract lot will be awarded to a separate contractor. In the event of a supplier winning both lots, the bidder will be awarded the lot with the highest value. Contract duration 1+1+1 years. The services required for Lot 1 include: 1) Grass cutting and maintenance; 2) Planting and maintenance of borders, beds, planters, pots, and boxes; 3) Maintenance of shrubs; 4) Maintenance of hedges; 5) Maintenance of hard surfaces (including car parks and sports pitches) - sweeping, leaf clearance (including dog feces) and weed control; 6) Tree pits; 7) Emptying of small waste bins; 8) Cleaning of external furniture; 9) Tree works; 10) Emergency clearance of snow; 11) Responsive reactive grounds and / or tree works; 12) Watering regimes; 13) Jet Cleaning of Paths; 14) Graffiti removal. The services required for Lot 2 include; 1) Tree Surveying services (initial surveys and annual surveys thereafter, and follow up surveys to monitor issued works); 2) Reporting on prescribed treatments over the life cycle of the contract.
