Tender description
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (the Authority), intend to put in place a contract arrangement for the provision of Thermal Imaging Camera. This will include the supply, support and maintenance of the product over the life of the product. Minimum specification of what would be required below: Specification Requirement Waterproof/dust resistant to standard IP67 (BS EN 60529:1992+A2:2013). Complies with BS EN 61000-6-4:2007+A1:2011 (EMC Emission) and BS EN 61000-6-2:2005 (EMC immunity). Weighs no more than 3lbs with battery fitted. Drop tested to a minimum of 1.5m and maintains functionality. Must have video and downloading capabilities. Video stored on the equipment must be capable of being easily transferred to host systems without the need for software not included in their standard operating systems. This should be available via USB. Supplied with 2 rechargeable batteries each with a minimum operating time of 2 hours. Batteries must have a lifetime warranty Must have on screen display showing remaining battery charge. Must have spot temperature display. Minimum display screen size of 2.5" (measured diagonally from bottom left corner to top right corner). Minimum resolution to be 320 x 240 pixels. Must be fully operable using one hand only whilst wearing fire gloves Must be capable of having a lanyard securely affixed and retractable Must have a colour palette for temperature differentiation. Must be supplied with pre-loaded settings as determined by Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, with ability for users to change as necessary in future. Battery change can be made without the use of tools particularly in environments such as the fire ground. Must be supplied with desktop chargers and vehicle chargers as required. Successful supplier must be willing to deliver a free of charge product familiarisation input to support product roll out. It is envisaged that this will be a half day (maximum) input delivered to approximately 10 people at a location within Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service. Minimum 2 year warranty supplied. Minimum 10 required in first delivery – on receipt of first Purchase Order Contact support minimum hours covered 8:00 am – 8:00 pm. 7 days a week. Must be able to demonstrate safety of the camera in an accident situation. Maintenance cover required over life of contract Minimum 10 years warranty on sensory and battery required.
