Tender description

Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is a procurement consortium which establishes and manages a range of Framework Agreements. EEM wishes to enter a framework agreement with multiple Contractors in order for our Members to meet current legislation and guidance for fire safety and to ensure employee and resident safety, through the regular servicing and maintenance of Fire, Intruder and Emergency lighting systems. The main elements of worked covered by this framework will be periodic and annual service, maintenance, installation and subsequent repairs of: — Fire Alarm Systems, — Intruder Alarm Systems, — Emergency Lighting Systems and Escape Route signage, — Fire Extinguishers, Hose Reels and Fire Blankets, — Dry/Wet Risers and Fire Sprinkler Systems, — Smoke Ventilation Systems (Automatic and Manual Opening Vent Systems). Due to the geographical spread of the EEM Memberships, we have split the Framework into 4 regional lots and 1 national lot. This Framework is being set up to support EEM Members located in the East Midlands, in terms of their legal compliance to meet current legislation and guidance for fire safety and to ensure employee and resident safety, through the regular servicing and maintenance of Fire, Intruder, and Emergency lighting systems. The main elements of worked covered by this framework will be periodic and annual service, maintenance, installation and subsequent repairs of: — Fire Alarm Systems, — Intruder Alarm Systems, — Emergency Lighting Systems and Escape Route signage, — Fire Extinguishers, Hose Reels and Fire Blankets, — Dry/Wet Risers and Fire Sprinkler Systems, — Smoke Ventilation Systems (Automatic and Manual Opening Vent Systems). Installation works for fire and intruder alarm systems will be covered under this framework but via mini competition only due to the technical nature of requirement and system types. This Framework is being set up to support EEM Members located in the West Midlands, in terms of their legal compliance to meet current legislation and guidance for fire safety and to ensure employee and resident safety, through the regular servicing and maintenance of Fire, Intruder, and Emergency lighting systems. The main elements of worked covered by this framework will be periodic and annual service, maintenance, installation and subsequent repairs of: — Fire Alarm Systems, — Intruder Alarm Systems, — Emergency Lighting Systems and Escape Route signage, — Fire Extinguishers, Hose Reels and Fire Blankets, — Dry/Wet Risers and Fire Sprinkler Systems, — Smoke Ventilation Systems (Automatic and Manual Opening Vent Systems).
