Evaluation of the 25 Year Environemntal Plan 'Pioneers'

Defra are seeking a Supplier to evaluate the ‘Pioneers’ established by the Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan (25YEP). It will capture the previous and ongoing work of the Pioneers and learn transferrable lessons from their experiences to inform the wider roll-out of the 25YEP and the on-going work of the Pioneers. It is hoped that this project will help to inform new ways of working which contribute to the overall goal of the 25YEP of improving the state of the natural environment over a generation. The project is expected to last six months, from March 2018 to September 2018. An interim/scoping report is suggested after the first month of the project, in April 2018. The draft research report is required in August 2018, with the final report due in September 2018.The project is funded as part of Defra’s Natural Environment and Rural Evidence Programme and is intended to inform the implementation of the 25 Year Environment Plan.
