Tender description
Lincolnshire County Council (‘The Council’) is exploring the option of undertaking a procurement exercise for its regulated home care, or domiciliary care, services across the south west of Lincolnshire covering the Grantham, Bourne and Stamford areas. It is anticipated that there will be at least two contracts as a result of any procurement with a single 'lead provider' awarded per zone. This provider will be contractually obliged to deliver or arrange the delivery of all Council commissioned home care services in that zone which is approximately 2 000 hours per week per zone. Any resulting contracts would start on 28.9.2018 with a 3-month mobilisation period. Regulated home care, or domiciliary care, services within the south and south west of Lincolnshire. The provider would ultimately be responsible for the delivery of all care services in their zone to be delivered either directly by the lead provider or via sub-contractors.
