Tender description
The Authority has a requirement for the supply of equipment for the EDS Project. The requirement is in Lots as follows: — Recombiner condenser, — High Temperature Recombiner Module, — Dryer modules, — Passivation System Lots made up of the above Lots. The UK Atomic Energy Authority is a non departmental government body carrying out research into the potential of nuclear fusion as a future source of energy. The Authority operates JET with the aim of magnetically confining and studying the behaviour of plasma in conditions and dimensions approaching those required in a fusion reactor. The authority has a requirement to replace equipment within the Exhaust Detritiation System (EDS).
