Tender description

In preparing for the draft Local Plan, the council seeks suitably experienced consultants to produce a masterplan for the defined centre in Chatham. The masterplan will support proposed allocations for the Medway Local Plan, and provide a sound evidence base for Medway’s growth strategy and demonstrate deliverability at Local Plan Examination. This will involve the consideration of the defined town centre area, with consideration of its wider context, taking into account recent policy and regeneration programme developments. The strategic review should consider the appropriate mix of land uses, including retail, employment, community and residential. The primary purpose of the commission is to determine key development opportunities and demonstrate the deliverability of proposals. Keywords: Masterplan, Planning, Consultancy
