Catering Disposable HMPPS

Tender description

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ), operating on behalf of its agency HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) intends to tender the requirement for Catering Disposables. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the intention to go out to procurement but the main purpose of the PIN is to assess the level of interest in this requirement. Catering Disposables are critical items in a prison kitchen. These types of items assist with food preparation, service, storage and portion control. This requirement covers the entire prison estate throughout England and Wales. Due to the critical nature of Catering Disposable products the contract is likely to contain performance measures. The list of items required are but not limited to; • Foil Containers & Lids • Disposable Cups & Lids • Food Wrap • Food Bags • Polystyrene Containers • Salad Containers • Pie Foils • Sandwich wedges • Disposable Cutlery • Disposable Plates and Bowls If your organisation is interested in possibly engaging in supply of this range of items please express you initial interest for supplier engagement by completing the attachment and returning to Rebecca Goodman (rebecca.goodman@justice.gsi.gov.uk) by the 16/02/2018
