Tender description

Glasgow City Council (GCC) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced service providers who are interested in working with GCC for digital communications. GCC is considering how it can enable and support enhanced digital communications connectivity across Glasgow. Potential opportunities include the use of street furniture to support the roll out of small cell cellular services (for 5 G and other cellular services) and the use of buildings for macro infrastructure. The publication of this PIN will help shape how Glasgow can deliver its connectivity vision by gathering and analysing feedback to inform all aspects of the approach including the process for market engagement, the role that Glasgow assets can offer to achieve its strategic objectives, the role of GCC in facilitating this vision.
