Tyre repair services, including fitting and balancing

Tender description

South Cambridgeshire District Council is leading on a joint procurement exercise for tyre repair and replacement on behalf of SCDC and Cambridge City Council (at their discretion). The services required require are for a complete tyre management package which comprises of tyre supply, tyre maintenance, disposal, bank (exchange), breakdown and inspection services. This will include selling the casing and exchanging for a re-mould tyre. Steering geometry alignment will be needed on site and so the successful contractor will need suitable mobile steering geometry alignment equipment. The estimated contract volume for OJEU notice purposes is from 155 000 GBP to 1 000 000 GBP per year for lot 1 and 260 000 GBP to 1 000 000 GBP per year. Please note that due to the nature of the contract this is estimate only and their are no guaranteed volumes or values for lot 1 or lot 2.
