Tender description

Tenders are invited from organisations that have the resources and ability to design and install a spray concrete wheeled sports area in Hargher Clough Park, Burnley. The aim of the project is to provide a wheeled sports area in Hargher Park as part of a long term development plan for the Park which aims to provide recreational opportunities that all user groups can benefit and which reflect the needs of the local population. The tenderer will ensure that any equipment installed is well designed and limits the opportunity for vandalism and also has low maintenance aspects, this will also ensure less maintenance re-visits. Equipment provided should demonstrate ease of maintenance and access to serviceable parts. The project design will ensure that the installation is safe and fit for purpose, as well as being enjoyable for those who use the facilities. Keywords: sports area, design, build
