The proposed contracts (3) will provide housing related support for single adults with medium to high level complex needs living in Arlington House, Conway House and Cambria House. This notice has been issued to notify the market of the London Borough of Camden intention to directly award 3 contracts to three organisations following a negotiated process. The organisations will deliver housing related support within their properties for single adults with medium to high level complex needs living in Arlington House, Conway House and Cambria House. These services form part of the Adult Pathway in Camden. The Adult Pathway is designed to help vulnerable single people who would otherwise be homeless, thereby reducing the need for statutory Temporary Accommodation and for more reactive, intensive public services such as A&E, Police or adult social care services. Pathway services provide accommodation for some of the most vulnerable people in the community together with support that is tailored to meet individual, increasingly complex needs, often associated with substance misuse and mental health problems. Residents are helped to progress towards independence by engaging with the services relevant to their needs and taking up opportunities for employment, training and education. It is the Council's intention to award all three contracts by March 2019 with a commencement date of 1.4.2019.
