Midlothian Council is looking for expressions of interest from a suitably experienced provider to run family support services from 6 family learning centres. The core purpose of the family learning centre services are to improve outcomes for children and their families, with a particular focus on Midlothian families in greatest need of support. The service will have the following main aims: — to improve children's social and emotional development, — to improve children’s health, — to improve children's ability to learn, — to strengthen families and communities. The provider will deliver a range of services to families which include, but are not limited to, high quality early learning and childcare provision (eligible twos), therapy groups and counselling, evidenced based parenting programmes (as agreed by the Council), outreach support and employment and training advice. There will be a supplier event on Wednesday 12th December, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Gorebridge Primary School (EH23 4XA).
