Shelters

Tender description

The Ministry of Defence (The Authority) has a requirement for a deployable, modular, and scalable shelter system, capable of use individually or in combination. The shelter system currently requires a detachable internal cable management and lighting system. For a small percentage of the shelters, environmental control units/systems may be required. Ideally, the shelters (and shelter components) need to be lightweight and compact to allow safe carriage by personnel to load and unload safely from vehicles. The shelters are required to be set-up and struck down quickly without the use of manual handling equipment. The shelters are to provide a working environment only (e.g. office, medical) and not domestic accommodation (e.g. sleeping). This new project, titled Manoeuvre Shelter (Man-S) partly replaces CANABA, a former defence project.
