These consultations usually take the form of a background consultation document setting out the context, which respondents are asked to read and then answer a series of associated consultation questions. These questions are hosted using an online survey platform (and an electronic form with the questions is provided to those respondents wishing to respond using an alternative means). Once responses have been collected following the survey administration window, they are analysed and written up into a summary report.
