Tender description

The University of Worcester is looking to re-tender its waste management services contract. It is anticipated that the tender documents will be available in June 2019 with a contract start date of 1.12.2019. The contract is expected to be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. This tender is for the collection, treatment, transfer and disposal of the University of Worcester's controlled waste and recycling streams. The University is looking to appoint 1 supplier to manage the entire contract. The following waste streams are included: general household/commercial non-recycled waste, general household/commercial recyclette, cardboard, glass, bulk sanitary waste and sharps, electrical equipment and white goods, segregated food waste, grease trap waste, confidential waste, hazardous waste and chemicals, household and office furniture, mattresses, wood and pallets.
