Provision of Childminding and Pre-school Development Services

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") invites electronic Tender Responses for the provision of Childminding and Pre-School Development Services in Southend. This contract is split into lots as described in the Section B Service Specification. The two services, have many common themes and requirements, however, it is important to note that the crucial difference is: Lot 1 - Childminders: delivers a service to individual Childminders operating a Childminding / Early Years childcare business from their own home; Lot 2 - Pre-schools and Other establishments: delivers a service to Pre-schools and other Childcare businesses and all relevant staff, operating out of a specific business establishment. These contracts will be for an initial period of three years, with an additional extension period of three years, to be implemented in 12 month periods, may be applied and if so, will be based on provider performance and continued funding. The anticipated contract start date is the 1st April 2019.
