Homes England - Runcorn Town Sites Term Landscape Maintenance & Cleansing Contract 2018 - 2021

Tender description

There are 6 sites within the Homes England's Runcorn portfolio. The Sites are located to the south and east of Runcorn with the majority concentrated within the area of Sandymoor in the borough of Halton. The Sites vary in size and character and include public open space, land reserved for future development and residual land left over as a result of residential and commercial development. Since a number of the Sites are used as, or are adjacent to, public open space the identification of health and safety risks is a priority. The Sites comprise of grassland, woodland, hedgerows, scrub, waterbodies and areas of hardstanding associated with formal and informal footpaths. The contract is envisaged to have duration of 2 years with provision for a further 1 year extension under the same Terms and Conditions of this contract. Typical planned Services under this contract comprise of but are not exclusively limited to the following, Site inspections, Grass Cutting, Hedge Cutting, Ornamental shrub, Pruning, Weed Control and Cleansing. This contract is a performance based, the performance of which will be monitored via Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
