Digital Mapping of Kerbside Space and Implementation Plan - London Borough of Sutton

London Borough of Sutton is currently undertaking a project to deliver air quality improvements within Sutton Town Centre and is working with businesses in the town centre on a number of initiatives that can be implemented to reduce emissions to air from their activities. This project is aimed at improving the availability of information on kerbside space to drivers of vehicles being used for deliveries to the commercial premises in and around the town centre. Through provision of information in a readily accessible format, drivers should be better informed of the places where they can stop for delivering and any time restrictions that are in place at that location. London Borough of Sutton is seeking a provider to survey the project area in order to gather information on kerbside space publicly available for parking / deliveries and the parking restrictions in place. The information gathered is to be presented on a digital map. A recommendation for using digital technology to improve the management of the available kerbside space is then required with a plan setting out the steps that will need to be taken to implement the recommendation.
