Tender description

The Project is for the provision of a new school to replace the existing Lismore Comprehensive post primary school in Craigavon. The new school is to be constructed on the site adjacent to the existing School Site at Lismore Comprehensive School, Craigavon and extended to include sports pitches. The existing site is currently operational. The Scope of the project will include: — provision of a new school with a long term enrollment of 1200 pupils and a target internal area of c.15 300 m2 in line with the Department of Education’s Handbook requirements, with accommodation and facilities including: —— wide range of departmental teaching facilities, —— Learning Support Centre, —— sports hall and PE facilities, —— school meals accommodation, —— main, staff and pupil entrances, —— school support and administration, —— construction of sports pitches, —— demolition of the existing facilities including asbestos removal, —— creation of a Green Space on the old school site.
