Tender description

Dstl (The Authority), part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) intends to negotiate and award Anatune Ltd a contract for an additional Quantity 1 Modified Syft Technologies Voice-200 Ultra Dual-Polarity SIFT-MS Analytical Instrument. Dstl procured a quantity of these goods under Contract No. 1000121293 earlier this calendar year, following a competitive tender exercise as advertised in the OJEU (Reference 2017S 219-454890). Dstl has a requirement for an additional purchase (Qty 1) of the same goods in support of its business requirements. Dstl intends to negotiate and award Anatune Ltd a contract for an additional Qty 1 Modified Syft Technologies Voice-200 Ultra Dual-Polarity SIFT-MS Analytical Instrument. Dstl previously procured these goods under Contract No. 1000121293 earlier this calendar year, following competitive tender exercise advertised in the OJEU (Reference 2017S 219-454890). It is considered that this contract can be placed using the Negotiated Procedure without prior publication of a Contract Notice pursuant to Article 32(3)(b) of the 2014/24/EU Directive and Regulation 32(5)(b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 for additional deliveries by the original supplier which are intended either as a partial replacement of supplies or installations where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance.
