Tender description

A summary of this tenders scope is as follows: 1) Towage of the vessel from her moorings on the River Itchen to a suitable lift out location on the Solent; 2) Lift out of the vessel onto the free supply transportation cradle, ensuring the site can accommodate the proposed barge; 3) Transportation of the vessel via the barge from the lift out location to Hartlepool, ensuring compliance with MCA and Port requirements en route; 4) On arrival at Hartlepool, the ship and transportation cradle to be lifted from the barge and transported via road to NMRN Hartlepool; 5) Secure the vessel in the car park of NMRN Hartlepool. The Contract Award will be based on the most economically advantageous tender in terms of the criteria stated below: 1) Cost: overall fees mapped against proposed resources and total hours included in fee offer: weighting 40 % 2) Responses given to the Questionnaire at Part 3 — financial capacity, quality/health and safety, technical and professional ability, added value: weighting 60 %.
