Tender description
The Urban Observatory is a research project funded by Newcastle University as part of Science Central initiative. It seeks to understand how a city system functions and how different parameters interact. To ensure optimal performance and data quality of the E-MOTE sensor, we require maintenance on our network of 100 E-MOTEs. The E-MOTEs are located around the city and bought through a succession of tenders from Envirowatch http://www.envirowatch.ltd.uk/ We want to buy a maintenance package for up to 5 years. The contract will be for an initial 3 years, with options to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods – subject to mutual agreement and the requirements of the project. Further competition to suppliers appointed to the environmental sensors lot on (NU/1195) Newcastle University Urban Observatory Sensors DPS.
