Infant Feeding Support Network PIN This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is a call for competition and an indication of potential future procurement activity (this may be subject to change). This notice makes no commitment to procure any services. This PIN is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. Cornwall Council will be going out to tender in 2018/2019 for the provision of an Infant Feeding Support Network with a contract start date of 1 April 2019. Short Description: The service is being commissioned to improve breastfeeding (initiation and 6-8 week) rates in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (IOS). The service will maintain and extend the current breastfeeding peer support network and provide assurance on the governance for quality standards and safety of information and support for new mothers who are providing their baby with any breast milk. The experience, wisdom and knowledge held by the staff, peer supporters and service users will continue to be harnessed through the delivery of a range of training events, resources and the Infant Feeding Guide which will be shared with all new parents in Cornwall and IOS.
