Tender description

It is expected that this service will include nursing, healthcare assistants and /or domiciliary care workers and will cover a range of requirements including up to 24 hours of care per day. This service will cover adults and children across all directorates within the 5 HSC Trusts. It is expected that all providers must have a Responsible Registered Nurse in place for each package of care. It is also expected that successful Providers are required to have dual registration with the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) as a Nursing Agency to provide nursing care in a home setting and as a Domiciliary Care Agency. The Contracting Authorities wish to establish a regional Framework Agreement of Providers to deliver a community care service for individuals with complex health and social care needs within their own homes.
