Tender description

This tender is to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply of casting, padding, splinting and related products. This tendering exercise will be for HTE GPO members who have agreed to participate and commit volume to the awarded suppliers for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further year. Additional GPO members may choose to enter a call-off contract during the term of the Framework Agreement on a direct award basis provided that those members agree to adhere to the commitment requirements of this contract. This procurement exercise is for the supply of the following products: — casting tape, — plaster of Paris, — back slab, — casting shoes, — undercast padding rolls, sheets and foam, — stockinette, — associated products for casting, — splinting: —— synthetic splinting, —— finger splints, —— associated products for splinting. We will go to market with an initial group of identified participants: 1) Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust; 2) HCA Healthcare UK; 3) Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust; 4) South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust; 5) Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust; 6) St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; 7) Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust; 8) University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust; 9) Warrington and Halton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Following award, additional participants will have the ability to make purchases from the agreement for the duration of the agreement.
