Tender description

Hartlepool Borough Council is seeking an organisation to carrying out the annual servicing of their fire extinguishers and related equipment as well as maintaining and supplying fire extinguishers and related equipment, when required. This Framework Agreement is also available to be used by Darlington Borough Council, Middlesbrough Borough Council, Stockton Borough Council and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. Full details are provided in the specification and other tender documents. The framework covers the annual servicing, refilling, refurbishment and replacement of a variety of fire extinguishers as well as for the replacement of fire blankets, hose reels and brackets in establishments throughout the Borough Councils of Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton and Darlington. The successful Tenderer, on award, will be required to carry out a full audit of all the Councils, who will be participating in the framework, establishments and produce a detailed register of all the fire extinguishers, fire blankets and hose reels contained within the buildings. The register must be maintained thereafter by the successful tenderer and produced at each supplier review meeting with the relevant council.
