Tender description

The Scottish Government’s Directorate for energy and climate change wish to establish a multi-supplier Framework Agreement in order to provide the Scottish Government and other Framework Public Bodies with a range of advice, support and analysis on the energy, water and environment related sectors. An open procedure will be used and it is intended to consist of a maximum of 2 lots. Lot 1 will be available for use by the Scottish Government and other Framework Public Bodies. Work commissioned under this lot will encompass technical and economic analysis, together with wider policy advice as required, related to heat and energy efficiency. The lot will cover, but not be limited to, the following topics: — local heat and energy efficiency strategies, — future outlook for heat and energy efficiency. Lot 2 will be available for use by the Scottish Government and Transport Scotland, with work encompassing economic, environmental and technical analysis and commercial services. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: — consumer engagement and protection, — energy efficiency, — system security and flexibility, — local energy systems, — renewable and low carbon solutions and — oil and gas industry.
