Tender description

The role of the occupational health and welfare services provider (the service provider) is to provide the 3 Ayrshire Councils with an occupational health and welfare service that allows the participating Council to meet its statutory requirements in relation to work-related ill-health and also addresses other health related activities as identified The service provider will advise each of the 3 Ayrshire Councils regarding its obligations under the provisions of health and safety at work, etc. Act 1974; the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and other statutory provisions relevant to the Councils’ activities. The service provider will provide each of the 3 Ayrshire Councils with occupational health support in the management of employee sickness absence. The service provider will ensure that all information is maintained in a confidential manner compliant with the relevant statutes. Anticipated minimum requirements (Please note that this may be subject to change prior to the tender being published) Lot 1: North Ayrshire Council: — anticipated minimum “general” yearly turnover requirement of 4 125 000 GBP for the last 3 years, — anticipated minimum yearly turnover requirement of 4 125 000 GBP for the last 3 years in the business area covered by the contract, — ISO 90001: quality management compliance, — ISO 14001: environmental compliance, — ISO 27001: data security compliance, — members of the faculty of occupational medicine, — qualifications for individual job roles will be contained within the specification issued with the invitation to tender. Lot 2: East Ayrshire Council: — anticipated minimum “general” yearly turnover requirement of 1 166 610 GBP for the last 3 years, — anticipated minimum yearly turnover requirement of 1 166 610 GBP for the last 3 years in the business area covered by the contract, — ISO 90001: quality management compliance, — ISO14001: environmental compliance, — ISO 27001: data security compliance, — members of the faculty of occupational medicine, — qualifications for individual job roles will be contained within the specification issued with the invitation to tender. Lot 3: South Ayrshire Council — anticipated minimum “general” yearly turnover requirement of 1 570 800 GBP for the last 3 years, — anticipated minimum yearly turnover requirement of 1 570 800 GBP for the last 3 years in the business area covered by the contract, — ISO 90001: quality management compliance, — ISO14001: environmental compliance, — ISO 27001: data security compliance, — members of the faculty of occupational medicine, — qualifications for individual job roles will be contained within the specification issued with the invitation to tender.
