Tender description
An important part of BIM’s role in developing the Irish seafood industry is to create the capacity to innovate and adopt new ways of operating. Innovation in aquaculture in Ireland has been slow and the traditional methods for attracting talent and innovative thinking into the sector have been un-coordinated and progress has been slow. Accelerator programmes are operational in other sectors such as biotechnology and ITC and this project is a chance to use this system for aquaculture businesses. BIM is now seeking tenders for the provision of a manager for an aquaculture business accelerator programme and the supply of business and technical mentors for the companies taking part in the accelerator programme.
