6245: Architect Services for GM Fire Service Museum and Associated Works

Tender description

The successful consultant will work with the Council and Museum - as the project’s clients - to take the existing design proposals (which are to RIBA stage 3) through to implementation, and subsequent completion. The architectural firm will assemble an appropriately skilled and experienced team to carry out the work required for the project’s delivery. The team will include a principal designer, quantity surveyor, structural engineer, building services/MEP consultant, contract manager and conservation / heritage architect as appropriate to deliver the works. It is anticipated that the successful consultant will be appointed in January 2018, and will be required for the duration of the delivery/construction period, which currently is anticipated to end (practical completion of works) in spring 2020.
