Tender description

The Council is tendering for an early years and education management information system and associated services to ensure the requirements of the Council are met. The Council is looking for a single solution for the detailed children’s services work areas: — admissions and transport team, — Autism outreach and sensory and physical support, — behaviour support, — catering, — early years finance, — early years team, — education welfare team, — educational psychology, — elective home education, — FIS, — governor support, — inclusion, — Information and ICT, — integrated workforce development team, — IPT and Out of School Tuition, — sensory and physical support, — SEND, — support services for SEN (SSEN), and — virtual school. Derbyshire County Council is seeking to procure an on premise early years and education management information system and associated services. The Council is looking for a single solution for all children’s services work areas as described in the tender documentation. The project scope includes: — implementation (including project management), — data migration (in excess of 320 000 records), — training, — licensing, — public facing portal for providers and parents or carers, — software licences for approximately 440 Users, — standard and bespoke reporting, — consultancy, — software support and maintenance, — account management, — knowledge, training and skills transfer to allow the Council to use, administer, develop and support the solution, — integration to other Council systems, including the optional requirement of integration with the Council’s EDRM System. The Contract term will be 5 years with an option to extend annually for an additional 5 years. This requirement has not been separated into lots for technical reasons including the need for seamless integration and implementation. Additionally, having a single lot will minimise Council resources for on-going support and efficient contract management.
