Tender description

This contract has now been awarded. The purpose of this contract is to provide a front of house customer facing role to all Campus users (employees based on site, visitors and members of the public) to provide a welcoming and safe environment, through regular foot patrols and CCTV monitoring. The Supplier shall provide a professionally-managed, high quality customer service and security guarding service, which complies with all mandatory requirements as identified in the Scope of Services and complies with all legislation governing the security industry. Through the use of industry best practice and the introduction of innovation, the service will achieve and demonstrate value for money on a continuous basis. The current Security Services contract is due to expire on 8.12.2018. This new contract is expected to be awarded by November 2018 and will have a start date of 9.12.2018. It will be let for an initial period of 3 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract, with ICOA having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 12 calendar months following the Initial Term. The 3 year budget currently available to deliver this service is between 300 000 GBP and 400 000 GBP (excluding VAT).
