Provision of Commercial Modern Music Programme Course Delivery for Dublin Institute of Technology

Tender description

The Commercial Modern Music programme provides an up-to-date and industry focused education in commercial modern music, incorporating instrumental performance and song-writing skills, production skills and academic coursework in addition to the business, management and technical skills necessary to succeed in the commercial modern music world. With a particular emphasis on musicianship and live performance skills, the programme highlights the band/ensemble setting and students specialise in one of five streams: bass, drums, guitar, vocals and song writing. The Contracting Authority invites and Calls for Expressions of Interest (“Responses”) to this PQQ under the Negotiated procedure for the award a single supplier service contract involving the provision of the Commercial Modern Music course and delivery all aspects of the programme while also maintaining the quality standards in accordance with policy laid down by the Academic Council of DIT and where appropriate external examiner approval and appointment is made in accordance with the policy. DIT also organises and supervises the written examinations for each part of the provided programme according to the regulations of DIT and as overseen by the relevant Examinations Officer in DIT. A provider shall also implement DIT quality assurance procedures in regards delivery of the programme content to DIT students.
