Procurement of a Multidisciplinary Masterplanning Consultancy Team using the Open Procedure for UCC Masterplan Review 2018

UCC is seeking to appoint a multidisciplinary team to complete a full review of its existing Masterplan and to develop a Masterplan Review 2018 document which will guide the future physical development of the University. This Masterplan Review is a further contribution to a process which commenced in 1972 with the development of the original UCC’s first formal Physical Development Plan and continued with Masterplan Reviews in 1993, 2004 and 2011. The construction consultancy services required to carry out this project will be procured on the basis of a single design team appointment. The selected team will be required to provide the range of consultancy services for the delivery of the project including but not limited to the following: • Planning & Urban Design Consultancy Services; • Architectural Services & Landscaping Design Services; • Civil /Structural, Environmental, Flood, and Traffic & Transport Engineering Services; • Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Services including Sustainability, Energy, and IT Specialists; • Property Portfolio Management Specialist. The aim of the Masterplan Review 2018 is to provide UCC with a comprehensive document of the highest quality that will advise them on how best to develop their campus within the parameters of the overall UCC Masterplan. UCC will award the contract in accordance with the requirements of the EC Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC (open procedure). UCC reserve the right to discontinue the process at any time.
