Tender description

Pentadecafluorooctanoic acid (its salts and PFOA-related compounds) was nominated by the EU to be listed as a Persistent Organic Pollutant (POP) under the Stockholm Convention at the 11th meeting of the Persistent Organic Pollutant Review Committee (POPRC-11) in 2015. At the most recent POPRC (POPRC-14) PFOA was recommended to be listed as an Annex A substance with specific exemptions. This recommendation will be discussed for adoption at the next Conference of the Parties (COP) in May 2019.
