Bath and North East Somerset Council and NHS Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group require an integrated community equipment service to issue, collect, recycle and store equipment. A pooled budget is currently managed by Bath and North East Somerset Council on behalf of the 2 organisations. It is envisaged that the procurement exercise will be led by Bath and North East Somerset Council as the lead commissioner. Bath and North East Somerset Council and NHS Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group would like to alert providers to a future integrated community equipment services opportunity. Bath and North East Somerset Council will be looking to recommission their community equipment services, from April 2020. Providers should note that information provided in this PIN is approximate and may change over the course of the engagement. A market engagement event for providers will be held on 17.1.2019 at the Guildhall in Bath. Providers will hear about the local plans for procurement of integrated community equipment services within Bath and North East Somerset and will have the opportunity to input into the recommissioning.
