Tender description

University Hospitals Birmingham hosts the West Midlands Academic Science Network (WMAHSN) and they are seeking to appoint a single supplier to design, develop and implement an online innovation management solution. This will be a platform for innovators (NHS, Academia, Industry and Third Sector) to register their innovations and share challenges. The innovations will be evaluated and signposted to the right place for appropriate advice and support. The solution will need to be supported, maintained and ad-hoc professional services requests will be made during the initial contract period and any extensions taken up. There will need to be provisions for training for all user groups (moderators, super admin etc) and support to ensure the smooth migration from the existing platform. UHB intends to award the contract for 2 years with a further two extensions of 1 year plus 1 year (maximum contract period will be 4 years) aligned to the lifespan of the WMAHSN licence with NHS England. Design, develop and implement an online innovation platform solution to include maintenance, support and professional services.
